제목 Polyethyleneimine-Mediated Synthesis of Iron oxide/Carbon Nanotube Composite Clusters and Their Characterizations  
초록 Iron oxide/multi-walled carbon nanotube nanocomposite clusters (IO@MWCNT) were synthesized using polyethyleneimine (PEI) as an active stabilizer. PEI is a cationic polymer with a high charge density and amino-group fragments that can produce nanoparticles with positive charges and stability against agglomeration. IO can be synthesized on side wall of MWNTs, since PEI molecules interact with side wall of MWCNT. This is an effective and facile method because the IO@MWCNT were synthesized through simple addition of an IO precursor salt to PEI-capped MWCNT without chemical modification of MWCNT surfaces or addition of base. The PEI-mediated synthesis can be applied to a variety of metal-CNT composite clusters.
