제목 Preparation and Properties of Nanocomposite Films of PAN/SWNT From Aqueous Solution
초록 The nano-scale dispersion of single wall carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) in polymer matrix is essential for taking advantage of superior properties of SWNT having 1nm in diameter of individual tube. SWNTs form bundles 10-100 nm in diameter due to van der Waals inter-tube bonding. Therfore, several methods have been tried to intercalate the SWNT bundles. In this study, kinetically stable dispersion of SWNTs have been produced by utilizing acidic aqueous solvent and surfactants with sonication, from which nanocomposite films of polyacrylonitrile and SWNT was prepared. The SWNTs in the composite films showed good dispersion. Mechanical and electrical properties of the composites have been investigated after drawing.
