제목 Static and Dynamic Structure Analysis of Crystalline Polymers Based on Organized Combination of Quantum Beam (X-ray and Neutron) Diffraction andVibrational Spectroscopic Techniques
초록 Crystalline polymers exhibit the complicated chain aggregation structure in the solid state. The structural information is indispensable for understanding the physical properties of crystalline polymers from the various hierarchical levels. We have two categories of structure analysis: static and dynamic aspects. The X-ray and neutron diffraction data collected for the thermodynamically or kinetically-equilibrated state give us the static structure information of the crystalline region. At the same time, we need to know the dynamic structural change in the process of crystallization, phase transition, light-induced solid-state polymerization reaction, and so on. Such a dynamic aspect of polymer crystals may be clarified by measuring the time dependence of X-ray and neutron diffraction as well as the rapid-scanning infrared/Raman spectral measurement. In the present paper the recent development of static and dynamic structure analysis of crystalline polymers will be reviewed.
