Graphene is one of the most effective carbons to immobilize sulfur for lithium-sulfur battery. Due to its intrinsic high conductivity and excellent stiffness, graphene could improve electrical performance of lithium-sulfur cell. Molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) prevent the dissolution of lithium polysulfides into the electrolyte and enhanced the conductivity of the sulfide electrode. Because graphene has extraordinary electronic behavior, MoS2 growth on the graphene surface increases its electron conductivity and electrochemical performance. In this study, a facile process was used to prepare MoS2/graphene nanosheet (GNS) composites by a in situ solution-phase synthesis method. These MoS2/graphene nanosheet (GNS) composites exhibit extraordinary capacity, excellent rate capability and cycling stability as a cathode material for lithium sulfur batteries. |
