제목 Nanocomposites based on Polyimide and Polyhedral Oligomeric Silsesquioxane
초록 Polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane, a hybrid nanostructure cage molecule, has been used in the last decade for preparation of polymeric nanocomposites. Here, inorganic/organic hybrid polymers have been prepared with the polyimide as the matrix. First, the silsesquioxane/DMAc solution was mixed with polyamic acid (PAA) solution prepared by PMDA and ODA in DMAc. And second, the polycondensation solution was treated by thermal imidization in the nitrogen atmosphere. The formation of the nanocomposite was confirmed by wide-angle X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy. The dielectric constant of PI were reduced because of the high porosity of the PI/POSS nanocomposites and also were tunable with the amount of the POSS. The glass transition temperature and thermal stability were measured by DSC and TGA.
