제목 Thin Films of Diblock Copolymers Containing Nanometer-Thick Metal Layers and Their Electrical Properties
초록 In thin films of PS-PVP diblock copolymers on silicon wafers, a multilayered nanostructure of alternating PS lamellae and PVP lamellae can be self-assembled due to the minimization of the interfacial energies. Thus, we selectively synthesized gold nanoparticles within the PVP layers of the thin film. Subsequently, metallic silver was deposited in the PVP layers with gold nanoparticles as active catalysts, resulting in an anisotropic multilayered nanostructure of alternating polymeric PS layers and metallic silver layers. We also applied the same silver deposition method to thin films of PS-PVP diblock copolymers having perpendicular cylindrical PVP nanostructures. We characterized anisotropic thin films by TEM and AFM. Electrical anisotropy of thin films was also investigated, including temperature-dependent conductivities
