제목 | Dispersion polymerization in supercritical CO2 with novel fluorinated polymers as the dispersant |
초록 | Fluoropolymers have attracted much attention because of their unique properties such as low surface energy, liquid crystalline behavior, good solubility in supercritical CO2, and so on.1,2 We synthesized poly(oxyethylene)s with fluorinated alkyl groups in the side chains using chemical modification. These fluorinated polymers were found to have double layered structure and very low surface energies. And these polymers have shown the appreciable solubility in supercritical CO2 and works as a surfactant due to the amphilicity arised from the CO2-philicity of the fluorinated side chain parts and the CO2-phobicity of the backbone parts. In this presentation, we focused on surface property of these fluorinated polymers and dispersion polymerization in supercritical CO2 with these fluorinated polymers as the dispersant. Fig. 1.
