제목 Synthesis of Sol-Gel Hybrid Material Containing Fluorinated Compounds for Passive Optical Waveguide
초록 Crosslinkable fluorine-containing polysiloxanes have high thermal stability, low birefringence and optical loss and easy processibility. Four kinds of silane monomers were synthesized successfully. These monomers were characterized by 1H , 19F NMR and FT-IR. Polysiloxanes were synthesized by sol-gel reaction and then cast film using by spin coater. These materials could overcome film cracking by adding methyl methacrylate substituted as a crack-free agent. The cured film had good chemical resistance for common solvent such as acetone, tetrahydrofurane, methylene chloride, chloroform, N,N-methylforamide and dimethyl sulfoxide. At 1550 nm wavelength, the refractive indices and birefringence of film were in the rang of 1.4467-1.4876 and -0.0001 – 0.0029, respectively
