제목 | Synthesis and Characterization of Organic-Inorganic Hybrid film (PMMA/SiO2) |
초록 | Despite its high optical property, PMMA(polymethylmethacrylate) film has limited application because of its low thermal property. So numerous methods have been tried to improve its thermal property. Especially PMMA-silica hybrid materials have been extensively studied. So far, the sol-gel method was the main stream in organic-inorganic hybrid. However, a novel method based on polymer-modified colloidal silica has been found and researched by Yoshinaga et al.1-2 In this study, we have prepared PMMA/SiO2 hybrid films using polymer modified silica particles. The PMMA /SiO2 composite films thus prepared were characterized using FT-IR, TGA, DSC and SEM. Fig. 1. FT-IR spectrum of PMMA/SiO2 mixture(―) and composite(…).
