Conjugated Polymer Bilayer P-N Heterojunction Structure via Solution Processing for Organic Electronic Applications |
초록 |
Organic semiconductors based P-N junction is hard to form based on solution processing owing to their similar solubility into common organic solvents. In this study, solution processed conjugated polymer bilayer P-N heterojunction based novel applications, such as organic rectifier diodes, organic field-effect transistors(OFETs), integrated circuits and even organic phototransistors(OPTs), can be developed by using p-, n-type conjugated polymers with selecting their orthogonal solvents for processing. OFETs and CMOS-like inverters have been researched for controlling charge transport in channel region of the device, resulted in precisely balanced p- and n-channel characteristics. Moreover, the photo response is investigated at the P-N interface with generating of photocurrent. The organic bilayer P-N heterojunction structure could be applied into various organic electronic devices via simple printing process that may contribute to develop new functionalized organic electronics system. |
