Electro-hydrodynamic Narrow Gap and Transcript Printing on Insulative Substrate for Fabricating Quasicrystal Electrode |

We develop a method that controls the evaporation speed according to the ratio of co-solvent in order to form silver-micro-size electrode that can be patterned via electro-hydrodynamic-narrow-gap printing (e-NGP). This method can produce free-standing patterning on an insulated substrate with low temperature processing without the need for additional restrictive conditions. Also, this pattern formation process consists of an in-situ chemical reduction via residual solvents that evaporate with nanoparticles sinking to the bottom of the solution, resulting in layer-by-layer stacking. This initial state of electrode line-resistance is 7.6 kΩ/cm, and is 3.93Ω/cm after all of the residue solvents have evaporated at 60 °C for 1hr. This electrode can be transferred to an adhesive tape, forming a quasicrystal electrode to fabricate ultra-flexible and durable electrodes. Finally, our patterned electrode can be applied in practical electronics by attaching it to an uneven interface. |
