제목 Titanium dioxide nanorod assembly in block copolymer micelle thin film
초록 TiO2 nanorod were assembled position selective in a poly(styrene)-block-poly(4-vinylpyridine) copolymer micelle thin film by direct spin coating method. Organic capped tiny anisotropic TiO2 nanorod with diameter approximate 3 nm and length between 20-30 nm were fabricated by non hydrolytic chemical modification of titanium tetraisopropoxide (TTIP) in oleic acid as surfactant. Incorporation of nanorod utilizes the surface chemistry of self-assembled block copolymer nanostructures to selectively sequestered and confined in PS domain of PS-P4VP micelle. High temperature annealing at 6000C at ambient atmosphere removes both blocks of the polymer thin film from the substrate and results in ordered mesoporous arrays of TiO2 nanoparticles. Oleic acid capped nanorod at high temperature splits into nanoparticles and interconnected to form network like structure of nanoparticles.
