제목 | Control of DNAM Crystal Shape and Size Using Drowning-out Crystallization |
초록 | DNAM is 4,6-Dinitroamino-1,3,5-triazine-2(1H)-one, it has better combustion efficiency, higher thermal stability and lower sensitivity as explosive materials. The high energy material used for propellants and explosives for solid rockets. It depends on the performance of the explosive in high purity, filling efficiency. it is important to control morphology, crystal size distribution, and shape. which are dynamic characteristics. operation parameters include supersaturation, agitation, solvents, temperature. the focus of this study is to control the median crystal size and defect of DNAM using Drowning-out crystallization process, the supersaturation was controlled by the anti-solvent addition rate using a syringe pump. Through the study, it was found that the higher the addition rate, the higher the nucleation concentration and supersaturation, and the aggregation of crystals occurred. the size and shape of crystals were determined by optical microscope and SEM. |
