CO2 separation from flue gas using low temperature membrane process |
초록 |
Membrane process for CO2 capture from post-combustion flue gas has always been confronted with electrical operation cost for pressure drive. This is from the reason of the limitation of membrane selectivity and permeability of CO2. Many researchers have been struggled to develope selective and permeable membrane materials so far. We have been focused on operational condition with a given membrane module. We could get much higher selectivity at a certain temperature condition with commercial membrane module, which is made by polyimide. Low temperature membrane process could be limited to be applied becuase of its chilling energy, but also could have a good competitive using its extremely higher selectivity. |
