Amine-branched poly(amidoamine) dendrimer embedded poly(ethylene oxide) free-standing membranes for CO2 separation |
초록 |
Amine-branched poly(amidoamine) (PAMAM) dendrimer was synthesized via two-step additional polymerization.The PAMAM can effectively fill the non-selective interfacial voids between large PEO crystallites owing to small size of symmetric morphology and high density of reactive primary amine groups of PAMAM. The addition of PAMAM to PEO matrix enabled fabrication of defect-free, high-selective membranes. The PEO/PAMAM membranes exhibited an approximately six time higher CO2/N2 selectivity than pure PEO membranes with slightly decreased CO2 permeability. The PEO/PAMAM membrane with 2.5 wt% content of PAMAM showed a CO2 permeability of 32.3 Barrer with a CO2/N2 selectivity of 42. This result is the highest gas separation values among the pure PEO-based free-standing membranes that have ever reported. |
