Graphene Quantum Dots for Photocatalyzed Coupling Reactions of Amines |

We developed N- and S-doped graphene quantum dots (NS-GQDs) through mild and simple microwave irradiation. The chemical structure of NS-GQDs was characterized using various spectroscopic and microscopic methods such as UV, FT-IR, PL, XPS and Raman spectroscopy. The obtained NS-GQDs showed strong and tunable fluorescence with high quantum yield (17%) in a visible range of electromagnetic spectrum. The bright NS-GQDs exhibited very excellent photocatalytic activity in the oxidative coupling reactions of aryl amines. |
