제목 Silver nanoparticle-decorated WS2 nanosheets for nitrophenol reduction under visible light
초록 Plasmonic silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) were successfully formed on the surface of tungsten disulfide (WS2) nanosheets via simple in-situ reduction of AgNO3 under mild conditions. The structural and optical characteristics of AgNP-decorated WS2 nanosheets (AgNP@WS2) were studied using TEM, XPS, and UV-Vis spectrometer. Then, the photocatalytic activity of AgNP@WS2 nanohybrids was investigated in the reduction of 4-nitrophenol to 4-aminophenol. These novel hybrids exhibited enhanced catalytic activity under the visible light irradiation in comparison with that in the dark. In addition, the photocatalytic activity of AgNP@WS2 was varied as a function of particle size.
