제목 Influence of Crystalline Behavior of Poly(vinyl alcohol)/clay Nanocomposites
초록 In general, PVA has excellent oxygen barrier property. Na+-MMT is formation of plate-shaped with an average diameter of approximately one micrometer. It developed through path in the PVA matrix. Therefore, it is difficult to penetrate from the outside oxygen.
In this study, Poly(vinyl alcohol)/clay nanocomposites were prepared as a function of clay contents in the PVA matrix. Silicate layers of clay affected PVA crystallization behavior. As dispersion of silicate in the PVA matrix, it disturbed formation of crystalline that decreasing enthalpy of PVA.
