제목 Pore volume control effect on activated carbon fibers for preparation of the gas sensor
초록 Activated carbon fibers(ACFs) for a gas sensor were prepared by pitch/polyacrylonitrile(PAN) mixed solution through an electrospinning process. In order to create nano-scale pores, magnesium oxide(MgO) powders were added as a pore forming agent during the mixing of these carbon precursors. The prepared ACFs were characterized by SEM, BET and a gas-sensing analysis. The NO gas sensing capability of the ACF by PAN based content ratios of 25 wt% MgO was highest than that of other ACFs. The sensing ability and the response time of ACF for the NO gas were improved by the increased to micro-pore volume.
