제목 Preparation of iron oxide nanoparticlesstablilzed by ampiphilic block copolymers carrying phenylboronic acid group and N-vinyl imidazole group
초록 Water-soluble block copolymers exhibiting glucose-sensitive phase behavior using poly(ethylene oxide)-based RAFT agent and vinyl type monomer containg boronic acid group via RAFT radical polymerization were synthesized. First, living anionic ring-opening polymerization of ethylene oxide was performed. PEO-based macroinitiator was synthesized by chain-end functionalization of polymeric alkoxide using 2-bromoisobutyryl bromide under the high vacuum. The ω-brominated macroinitiator was converted to the corresponding RAFT agent. Block copolymer was prepared by RAFT polymerization of m-(methacryloylamido) phenyl boronic acid and N-vinyl imidazole in DMF at 110℃ for 48 hours. This block copolymer shows both glucose- response and pH- sensitive phase transition behavior. Using the resulting block copolymer, nano sized iron oxide particles were prepared in aqueous media. In this presentation, we will report the preliminary results.
