MnO2-deposited lignin-based carbon nanofiber mats for use as electrodes in symmetric pseudocapacitors |
초록 |
Low-cost, high-performance electrodes are highly attractive for practical supercapacitor applications. MnO2-deposited lignin-based carbon nanofiber mats (MnO2-CNFMs) were prepared for use as binder-free supercapacitor electrodes. The MnO2-CNFM4 electrode showed a significantly high specific capacitance of ~171.6 F∙g-1 at a scan rate of 5 mV·s-1 in a three-electrode system. Moreover, a symmetric supercapacitor with MnO2-CNFM4 as both the positive and negative electrodes exhibited a specific capacitance of 67.0 F·g-1 and an energy density of 6.0 Wh·kg-1 at a current density of 0.1 A∙g-1. Further, the symmetric supercapacitor displayed excellent cycling stability, showing a capacitance retention rate of approximately 99% after 1000 cycles. |
