Hydrogel is a biocompatible material to use as various way including electrophoresis, hydrogel patch, micro fluidic devices. However, most of hydrogel researchers are focus on mechanical property of hydrogel including hydrophilicity, porosity, and swelling ratio. In this work, we focus on functionality of hydrogel to introduce various chemical structures and biomolecule with covalent bonding. We Synthesis ECH-PEG-ECH block copolymer and make the end part to alkene to hydrogenation. We used NIPAM as a monomer and esterificated ECH-PEG-ECH block copolymer as cross-linker. After made hydrogel we do the substitution reaction to make Cl to N3. Due to these N3 functional group, we can easily introduce any other chemical and bio molecular which has alkyne through the alkyne azide click reaction. In order to confirm our azide alkyne click reaction, we introduce alkyne-GFP and alkyne-RFP. |
