Application of the process identification method was conducted to predict the coke oven gas (COG) production volume for the optimal operation of the COG purification process and optimal distribution scheduling of the COG consumption process for fuel use. This paper introduces a time series regression to obtain the model parameters of the GOG production prediction model. The proposed prediction algorithm of COG production volume showed the more accurate result than the one based on the empirical method in the simulation study.
