제목 Production of Polymer Core-Shell Colloids with High Uniformity via Coaxial Electrospray.
초록 Electro-jet is a good way to produce fibers and particles in a continuous process. Although it has been growing interest from both academics and industries, the studies have been mainly focused on the production of nanofibers via electrospinning. Production of colloids using the same technique (electrospray) may find a variety of applications and diversify the colloidal species we can obtain. The goal of this work is to develop a simple way for the production of colloids with high uniformity by means of the coaxial electrospray. Especially, core-shell structured colloids are our primary interest due to their promising uses in drug-delivery systems, cosmetics, and food industries. This talk will present the production of core-shell colloids consisting of two polymer components. The shape and size of the colloid capsules could be controlled by adjusting the electrospray conditions.
