The Evaluation of Bioabsorbable Polymer coated stent with Rapamycin |

The controlled drug delivery in DES plays a critical role in reducing restenosis in intravascular stenting. The aim of this study was prepared sirolimus and bioabsorbable polymer coated stent. The PLGA-PEG coated stent with sirolimus was employed for coating on BMS to inhibit SMC proliferation and prevent the in-stent restenosis in vivo test. In this study, pre-clinical evaluation of them was performed with rabbit iliac and porcine coronary arteries model. |
