Synthesis and Properties of Poly(phenylene)-based Proton Conducting Polymers with Densely and Locally Sulfonated Multi-phenyl Architecture for Proton Exchange Membranes Fuel Cells |
초록 |
Polymer electrolyte membrane has been regarded as a core chemical material in proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFCs). In this study, poly(phenylene)-based proton conducting polymers were synthesized using nickel catalysed cross coupling reaction between benzene ring with a side group and thermally stable aromatic multi-phenyl group prepared through the Diels-Alder reaction for PEMFCs. Post-sulfonated ionomers were well dissolved in polar aprotic organic solvents such as DMSO, DMAc and NMP. We have investigated their electrical, physical property and PEFC performance. |
