제목 Electrochemical and micro-structural studies of 3D ordered network for Si@C composite electrodes
초록 Graphite, a carbon-based anode material, has a theoretical capacity of 372 mAh/g and is currently most commercialized due to its high electrical conductivity and stable structure. As the number of application fields increases and a stable high-capacity lithium secondary battery is required, it is essential to develop an anode material having a high capacity. Silicon has a theoretical capacity of 4200 mAh/g. However, as the volume expands, the electrode cracks, leading to electrical insulation. In this study, silicon is deposited in the structure to relieve volume expansion and exhibit excellent electrochemical performance. The morphology of the composites was examined by Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy (FE-SEM), Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and X-ray Diffraction (XRD). Electrochemical characterizations were also conducted by cyclic voltammetry and galvanostatic charge-discharge tests.
