제목 Synthesis and characterization of polymeric ionic liquid for polymer electrolyte in dye-sensitized solar cells(DSSCs)
초록 In DSSCs, liquid type electrolytes are difficult to be used in long-term operation due to its volatilization and leakage. To overcome these drawbacks, several attempts have been made to replace polymer electrolytes for liquid electrolytes.  
In this study, we synthesized the ionic liquid using imidazolium salt including a vinyl group, then polymerized it with a radical initiator as we changed the degree of polymerization. Finally we fabricated DSSCs using those synthesized polyme electrolytes. We confirmed the characteristics of electrolyte and the performance of DSSCs according to the degree of polymerization. The structure and the degree of polymerization of the electrolyte were analyzed by means of nuclear magnetic resonance, fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and gel permeation chromatography. The electrical properties and the power conversion efficiency of DSSCs were measured by a impedance analyzer and a solar simulator.
