제목 | Synthesis and Properties of Polyamide66/Clay Nanocomposites via Melt Intercalation. |
초록 | Polyamide66(PA66) is a kind of important engineering plastic. Despite polyamide6 and polyamide12/clay nanocomposites have been investigated, there are few papers on PA66/clay nanocomposites. Inspired by epoxide compound as the partially cross-linked agent of polyamide, we want to prepare the co-intercalation clay which absorbing epoxide compound between the silicate layers. It might be expected that the strong interaction between epoxy groups confined in the layers and amide groups of PA66. In this study, we would like to describe the preparation of PA66/clay nanocomposites(PA66CN) via melt intercalation by using a new kind of organophilic montmorillonite through co-intercalation of epoxy resin and alkylammonium into Na-montmorillonite and some basic properties will be discussed. In our present study, the chain-extended organifier having amide group and functional end group was synthesized by two step method. First, carboxyl-terminated PTMG was prepared. Second, the organifier was synthesized by dropping 1 equiv of diamino-N-methyl dipropylamine in 2 equiv of carboxylated PTMG. |
