제목 Influence of temperature to growth and fatty acids compositionof the green algae Botryococcus braunii LB572
초록 Botryococcus braunii LB572 was grown in flask cultures in modified BG11 medium at 10, 18, 23, 28 and 33oC.B. braunii produced high levels of oleic acid (C18:1n9c) at 10 and 33oC after 21 days of cultivations with 69.54% and 67.32% weight of total fatty acids, respectively. Botryococcus braunii LB572 was also cultured in modified BG11 medium at 4, 10 and 23oC using bubble column photobioreactors with three operating parameters, such as CO2 concentration, gas flow rate and light intensity, which were optimized using statistical techniques.With optimized operating parameters at 23oC, biomass concentration and oleic acid content increased significantly at day 21 with 6.2g/L and 71.29% weigh of total fatty acids, respectively.
