제목 The effect of polysilazane coating on nanocomposite films as gas barrier film
초록 The nanocomposite film is composed Polyvinylalcohol(PVA)-Montmorillonite(MMT). PVA/MMT nanocomposite film is usually used to food packaging industry because of high transparency, barrier property, excellent flexibility. However, PVA nanocomposite film is poor gas barrier property. Because PVA has many hydroxyl groups that means very hydrophilic. To solve this problem, polysilazane is coating on nanocomposite film. After UV treated nanocomposite film has hydrophobic surface that doesn’t dissolve water vapor at film surface. The barrier property were investigated by Oxygen Transmission Rate (OTR), Water Vapor transmission Rate (WVTR), Water Contact angle, Hazemeter, UV-Vis, FT-IR, Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC).
