제목 A Study of Resin Embedded Silicon Nanoparticles as Air Gap Filler in Display
초록 Optical Clear Resin or Adhesive is applied to the air gap between the module and the screen touch in the display to reduce the refraction and reflection, enabling a clearer picture quality. Among the various materials, silicon-based materials are good candidates because they can be easily handled, harmless to the environment, and have heat resistance and high transparency. However, high moisture and oxygen permeability shorten the life of the module. In order to overcome this problem, silicon nanoparticles (SiNPs) were synthesized and applied to a resin. The size of synthesized SiNPs was 3-10 nm by TEM, and the film prepared by mixing with encapsulant resin showed 99% light transmittance and 50% reduction in gas permeability compared to pure film.
