An amperometric glucose biosensor was fabricated on the basis of aligned ZnO nanorod film. Glucose oxidase was immobilized onto the ZnO nanorod film. The ZnO nanorod films were synthesized by growing ZnO nonorods tin-doped indium oxide (ITO) glass directly. The electrode surface was coated via a chitosan matrix. The prepared electrode was characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and cyclic voltammetry (CV). The electrode exhibited good electrochemical performance for the glucose analysis with a linear range of 0-60 mM glucose. |
