제목 Thermally conductive pressure sensitive adhesive composites using functionalized graphene oxides
초록 The one-step covalent functionalization of graphene oxide using isocyanatoethyl metharcylate (IEMA), was used to improve the thermal conductivity of pressure sensitive adhesive composites. The IEMA-functionalized reduced-graphene oxide (IEMA-frGO) was successfully incorporated into PSA matrix by in-situ polymerization. The IEMA-frGO nanosheets have no agglomeration and great exfoliation in the polymer matrix. The IEMA-frGO fillers played a role as a crosslinker to the PSA matrix. The strong compatibility enabled the IEMA-frGO to form the thermally conductive pathways. The effect of the UV energy on the thermal conductivity and peel strength of the IEMA-frGO/PSA composites were investigated. The IEMA-frGO/PSA composites showed a substantial increase in thermal conductivity over 1.00 W/mK), however, a slight decrease in peel strength was observed. *This work was supported by Korea National University of Transportation in 2016.
