Heterogeneous ion exchange membrane was prepared with Ethylene Vinyl acetate (EVA) and ion exchange resin. Content ratio of the ion exchange resin and EVA were controlled variously, and the properties of membrane were measured according to it. The average particle size of the cation exchange resins were under 50μm, they were pulverized by air jet mill. And then EVA heterogeneous membrane was prepared two-roll mill. Properties of EVA heterogeneous membrane were measured swelling ratio, fixed ion exchange capacity by LCR meter and water uptake. And mechanical properties were measured tensile strength and elongation by UTM. The ion exchange capacity and electrical resistivity were measured for electrical property. The morphology of the heterogeneous membranes were measured by scanning electron microscope (SEM). |
