제목 Protein-induced Self-assembly of Uni-lamellar Liposomes into Multi-lamellar Lipoplexes
초록 This work introduces multi-lamellar lipoplexes prepared by self-assembly between cationic liposomes (DOTAP) and anionic proteins, epidermal growth factor (EGF, pI = 4.6), in a layer-by-layer manner. The EGF/DOTAP complexes exhibit the narrower size distribution than the DOTAP liposomes after complexation and no significant changes of particle sizes at an ambient temperature for 100 days. The loading efficiency of the EGF was above 95 %. FRET, cryo-TEM, Langmuir trough analyses, and molecular dynamics simulation were performed to understand the interactions of the EGF with the DOTAP liposomes.
