Here, we demonstrated a high-performance, low-cost X-ray detector with high resolution, sensitivity and stability using a CsPbBr3 PNCs. The optical properties were higher than that of the GOS sample due to the high quantum yield of the CsPbBr3 PNCs scintillator. Owing to the more than 5 fold shorter lifetime of CsPbBr3 PNCs scintillator than the GOS sample, the response time of PNCs sample had more than 5 times faster than the GOS sample. The synthesized CsPbBr3 PNCs have mono-dispersed cubic shape with 9 ± 1.5 nm in average size so they could greatly reduce the light scattering, which deteriorates the spatial resolution of X-ray image, thereby exhibiting better spatial resolution for a linear line chart than the GOS. Conclusively, the CsPbBr3 PNCs scintillator based indirect X-ray detectors provide better quality of X-ray images at reduced X-ray exposure than the conventional GOS scintillator based indirect X-ray detectors and a-Se based direct type X-ray detectors. |
