The effects of gas holdup and volumetric liquid phase mass transfer coefficient in the bubble column with multiple draft tube were investigated experimentally, according to diameter, interval and plate number of draft tube and gas velocity. gas holdup and volumetric liquid phase mass transfer coefficient increased with decreasing the interval of draft tube when the diameter ratio of draft tube was small but decreased when the diameter ratio of draft tube was large. correlation equations of gas holdup and volumetric liquid phase mass transfer coefficients were proposed.
