제목 Organic memory device with monolayered Au nanoparticles by DNA hybridization
초록 In order to have an efficient monolayer of charging element in the memory device, both nanoparticles (NPs) and surface of dielectric layer have been functionalized to accomplish specific binding mechanisms. In this study, using strong biological binding of DNA hybridization, Au NPs were monolayered between pentacene and SiO2 dielectric layer in organic memory device. The Au NPs were functionalized with target oligonucleotide (DNA, 18-mer) and the dielectric surface was modified 3-glycidylpropyl trimethoxysilane (GPTMS) and probe oligonucleotide. Capacitance-voltage characteristics and frequency effects were discussed. The memory device can be applicable to develop a new conceptual DNA-based device.
