Microfluidics can provide convenient and accurate analysis tools. In this talk, we present recent developments in configurable nano-biosensors system for biosensing and diagnostic applications using modular platform technology (MPT) based on microfluidics, with special emphasis on disposable plastic devices format, simple valves, and various microstructures. In detail, we overview of the common methods used in the fabrication of polymer microfluidic systems, including replica and injection molding. Also described are the different methods by which on-chip easy operations—such as easy assembly of pumping and valving of fluid flow, the mixing of different reagents, and the separation and detection of different biochemical species with MPT. Three modular units technologies such as biological sample pretreatment/gene amplification/ sensing should be independently developed to improve user-friendly and user-customizable electrical nanobiosensor for molecular diagnosis. |
