Intensive research has been directed to the development of reliable methods for transferring graphene from its growth substrate to the application substrate, without damaging the fragile one atom thick graphene sheet and without leaving undesired residues on the graphene surface. Here, we demonstrated a PMMA reverse transfer method, where the PMMA/graphene bilayer was reversely transferred onto target substrates, in order to better control both contamination and crack formation relative to conventional approaches. As a result, the graphene transferred by the developed method not only possesses double the electrical conductivity with negligible transmittance loss, but also exhibited excellent bending stability as compared to the commercial flexible ITO electrode. |
