Reactivity Study of NOx-free Chemical-Looping Combustion |
초록 |
Chemical-looping combustion(CLC) is the indirect combustion by use of oxygen carrier. In this combustor, the fuel and air go through different reactors with no flames and this makes an opportunity to thoroughly eradicate the generation of NOx. The looping meterial(oxygen carrier) consists of metal oxide and binder. In oxygen carrier, metal oxide plays an important role of CLC. The single and double metal oxide were prepared to gain high reactivity and regenerability for CLC. In both reduction and oxidation, the reaction rates of double metal oxides were slightly lower than the single metal oxides. Fe2O3 is relatively less expensive than NiO and CoO. Thus double metal oxide of NiO-Fe2O3 will be a substitute of single metal oxide.
