In this work, porous carbon fibers were prepared by polyacrylonitrile (PAN) and silica nanoparticles as the template. PAN-based porous carbon fibers were prepared by carbonization and electrospinning of PAN solution containing various silica contents. The silica etching porous carbon fibers were analyzed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), scanning electron microscope (SEM), and cyclic voltammetry (CV). It was found that the electrochemical performance of carbon fiber was mainly depended on their porosity, indicating that well-developed pores on carbon fibers were led to feasible ion transfer in carbon electrodes. |
