제목 Synthesis of anionic water-soluble polyfluorene derivatives as interfacial materials for the inverted organic solar cells
초록 In recent years, interest in conjugated polyelectrolytes(CPEs) have grown due to their solubility in polar solvents and self-assembly properties of polyelectrolytes. We have shown that CPEs can be used as the interfacial layer in polymer light-emitting diodes (PLED) and organic solar cells (OSCs). Here, anionic water-soluble polyfluorene derivatives, which were used as the interfacial layer in the inverted organic solar cells, were synthesized by Suzuki coupling. The synthesized anionic polyfluorene can be dissolved in polar solvent, preventing intermixing of the multilayers. The electronic properties of anionic polyfluorene derivatives were characterized by Ultraviolet Photoelectron Spectroscopy (UPS). The fill factor (FF) was enhanced by providing wettabillity of subsequent PEDOT:PSS layer, comparing with the device without this interfacial layer. In addition, the effects of using the interfacial layer in the inverted organic solar cells will be discussed.
