Organic and polymer light-emitting diodes(OLEDs and PLEDs) have attracted tremendous interest in the large-area flat-panel displays due to their high brightness, low operation voltage, fast response, and cost-effective solution processability. In this study, single polymers containing polyfluorene(PF) and quinoxaline derivatives were synthesized through the Suzuki polymerization method. Oxadiazole(Oxd) units were added to polyfluorene in order to improve the charge carrier transport. The electron-deficient moiety Oxd was introduced with flexible spacer of sufficient length as the side chain at the C-9 position of PF. Quinoxaline derivatives, containing thiophene and selenophene respectively, as orange dopants from 0.03mol% to 0.10mol% were incorporated into polyfluorene blue backbone. Polymers were investigated and compared with electroluminescence properties. |
