The materials derived from 10-alkylphenothiazine have good hole injecting/transporting properties due to their high-lying HOMO energy level. In order to fabricate multi-layer structured polymer light emitting diodes (PLEDs), the hole injecting/transporting materials should have solvent resistance. We synthesized thermally cross-linkable 10H-alkylphenothiazine (PT) oligomers with thermally cross-linkable MA or VB unit. The absorbance of UV-Vis spectra of thin film of thermally cross-linked PT oligomers (cross-PT) on the glass substrate and washed thermally cross-PT film with methylene chloride (MC) were almost same. The HOMO energy levels and electrochemical stability of cross-PT oligomers were figured out from the cyclic voltammetry (CV). Bilayer structured polymer light-emitting diode (PLED) was fabricated and characterized. In this presentation, we will report synthesis, optical, electrochemical, and electroluminescent properties. |
