Small Molecule Acceptors for Polymer Solar Cells |
초록 |
Due to the cheap and simple processing of organic photovoltaic cells (OPVs) many efforts were made for creating organic photovoltaic cells with high efficiencies. Electron acceptors like fullerenes and their derivatives are very well researched, because of their favored features in electron-accepting and transportation, but there are some limitations like a weak absorption of visible light, a limited spectral bandwidth and a low tunability of the band gap, which fullerene based electron acceptors still didn’t overcome.[1] Organic small molecule electron acceptors share the same advantages like the fullerene-based electron acceptors like the good electron-accepting and transportation capabilities and overcome their limitations.[2] This presentation shows the problems and challenges of organic small molecule electron acceptors and show the potential of their future applications. |
