제목 Mussel-inspired Synthesis of Gold Nanostructures on Electrospun Polymer Nanofibers
초록 We introduce bio-inspired synthesis and assembly of gold nanostructures on electrospun poly (ε-caprolactone) (PCL) nanofibers functionalized with polydopamine (pD). Dopamines are oxidatively polymerized to pD on the surface of the PCL nanofibers. The generated pD layer mediates the reduction of gold precursor ions to gold nanostructures, generating highly porous, metal-polymer hybrid nanostructures. The prepared gold nanostuructures exhibit excellent catalytic activity for the reduction of 4-nitrophenol. *This work was supported under the framework of international cooperation program managed by NRF of Korea (2012K2A1A2033167).
