제목 Weavable, Fibrous Organic Field-Effect Transistors Based on Metal-Insulator-Semiconductor Coaxial Microfibers using Phase-Separation of Organic Semiconductor:Polymer Blend
초록 As attention of electronic textile (e-textile) as an ideal platform for wearable devices is increased, the development of functional electronic fibers with coaxial structures has been required. In this paper, we demonstrated weavable fibrous OFETs based on metal-polymer insulator-organic semiconductor (MIS) coaxial microfiber using the self-organization of insulating polymer blends:organic semiconductor. Vertically phase-separated insulating polymer:organic semiconductor blend film covering the metal microfiber forms a coaxial bilayer of gate dielectric (inside) and organic semiconductor (outside). The fibrous FETs based on MIS coaxial microfiber exhibit uniformity of electrical performances over the entire fiber surface and enhanced bending stability. Finally, the fibrous OFETs were successfully integrated into textile by weaving MIS coaxial microfibers with conductive threads and cotton, which proved the potential of wevable MIS coaxial microfibers for use in e-textile applications.
