The polymeric nanoparticles are very useful in many industrial areas such as paint and catalyst because the nanoparticles have large specific surface area which induce many exposed functional groups of the polymer and high chemical reactivity. Therefore, we selected the ultrasonic method to prepare the polymeric particles. It is very simple to operate the device and control the variables. In addition, the experimental time is much shorter than other particle fabrication methods because this method is based on the spraying mechanism. To prepare the polymeric nanoparticles, we used Azido-thermoplastic polyurethane (ATPU) and Thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) as the raw material. And then we confirmed the shape and size of the polymeric particles using SEM according to variables. The polymeric particles which were made by ultrasonic generator had many applications such as generating high reactive porous membrane. |
